Dear Rhabbi Wing. It’s Melody Roccaforte, retired Exec Director of Healing Pathways. It’s been a long time but I read the obituary of Sherry Brownstein today and did not remember or know of your relationship. I worked (as a volunteer) with Sherry many years in the fight against cancer through the American Cancer Society. I was the Board Chair of the Northern Region for 13 years and served as a Board Delegate on the Illinois State Board as well.
It is no wonder that I felt such a connection to your compassion toward cancer patients.
I am sorry for your loss Bhina. It was a privilege and an honor to serve beside Sherry and for that matter, to partner with you at Temple Beth-El in the fight against cancer.
Prayers with you and your family.
Melody M Roccaforte
