Dear Bonnie so sorry for your loss. It seems like only a few years ago we were in Vegas for your wedding.

Dennis was truly one of the nicest men I have been lucky enough to call my friend. Yes he was a real gentleman, we will miss him.

I was heartbroken to hear of Dennis' passing, he was one of the most beautiful people I've ever known.  Dennis and I grew up together at St. James, so many fun memories of our time as St. James Jimmies.  Bonnie, I am so sorry for your loss, and to his Mom and family members, I grieve with you, and pray for all of you during this incredibly difficult time.  Dennis was one of a kind and will be missed greatly.  Hugs and deepest condolences to all of you.

I'm so sorry to hear about Dennis. He was a good man. My 2 dogs, Morgan and Fritz, played with Jaxon at the dog park while Dennis and I talked. We moved and I have not talked with Dennis for a couple of years but will always remember his kind and gentle nature and his love for Jaxon and family. Sending much sympathy to his wife and other family members. Rest In Peace Dennis.

We are devastated to hear that our dear Dennis Cash has passed.  He was the sweetest man and we were so blessed to have him in our lives.  So many fun times and fun trips to White Sox games and get togethers.  We will miss his sly smiles and silly jokes and his giant heart full of love. Our sincere love and prayers are with you Bonnie, and with your entire family.

We were so sad to hear of Dennis's passing. He was such a beautiful, kind, fun loving person with a heart of gold. God absolutely gained another angel. He and his wife Bonnie held a special place in my parents hearts, Jerry and Carol Sagona, especially after my mom passed he would stop by and visit my dad. Thank you Dennis for everything, but especially for the privilege of your friendship to me and my family. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

    With much love and compassion,

My heart is breaking for you, Angie, Dave, and Family! Sunday morning at church seemed so normal and all was well. Then you must've gone home to receive this devastating news about Dennis, and your lives have completely changed! Anyone who knows you knows how important your family is to you. Dennis was always so polite and as others have said, so gentlemanly and proper. My deepest sympathy to you and your large family. Claudia Woodward

Dennis was part of teaching me things throughout my life . First he taught me my smart ass mouth can get me in trouble .. when he got kicked out of class at St.James and had to go to principles office , as he was walking out i made some crack that the whole class laughed at .. I thought I was cool until I saw him waiting for me outside . He didn't look happy, when I walked by he said "so you think your funny huh ? but then he taught me that being funny can get me out of trouble too .. After basketball practice , on a night were I threw a pass when he wasn't even looking and hit him hard in face , he again was waiting for me and started roughing me up a bit .. I started doing my "jelly legs" imitation that I had seen on a big boxing match . He started laughing so hard he forgot what he was mad at .. then years later he taught me about how important friends are when he kept calling me to come to the Verdi club for a St.James reunion. I didn't really care about going . I thought those were grade school days I've got other friends now but he got me to go and I had a terrific time and connected with those friends and still do . Then a few years back he taught me about giving respect to people who you knew in life . I was at my Dads wake in receiving line when I heard a familiar voice saying to one of my sisters "Mr.Waugh was a great guy ,he was always driving us places and showing up to help me and all of Greg's friends .. Yes it was Dennis . And now Im the one telling everyone what a great guy Dennis was ..Respect

I was so sorry to hear of Dennis' passing.  I worked with him for many years at Barnes and he always had a smile on his face and a funny story to tell.  Dennis was truly a gentle soul.  I'm sure Johnny was waiting to greet his good friend.

    Bonnie and family,

We are so sorry for your loss. Dennis was such a beautiful, kind soul. He was an especially good friend to my mother and father, Carol and Jerry Sagona. After my mother passed, Dennis would periodically visit my Dad, Jerry to comfort him and share kind words. His friendship was truly a gift. Prayers to Bonnie and all of Dennis's family and friends, heaven has gained a special angel.

    With much sympathy,

    Julie and Jerry Sagona Sr.

I just heard about Dennis. I have not seen Dennis in a long time, but always was hoping to run into him at events downtown or crossing paths on the street. He was a great friend during our school years, will never forget get him. Dennis definitely went before his time, and I hope we will cross paths some day. Just not before my time I hope.

My prays go out to the family

My condolences for the Cash family. I knew Dennis from the dog park. Jaxon and my dogs, Koya and Coally, were great buds. Jaxon and Koya are about the same age and played with each other since we started going to the dog park. Dennis and I always discussed football and he gave me hard time since I am a Bears fan. I will truly miss you, Dennis. Rest in peace, my friend.
