What a beautiful, talented and loving lady!  It was a privilege to know Dorothy through the years, and I  know how much her family and friends meant to her.  She will be missed and thought of fondly by many as the years go by.

Aunt Do you were my angel here on Earth.  I love you so much.  You were there when I needed you the most and you gave me so much love. You were there for me when I was happy, when I was hurting, and when I needed someone just to love me.  You took me under your wing even though I was halfway across the country.  You knew how I was living and you tried your best to compensate for the love I was not getting,  You were the first one I called when I was in town, You would take me to work with you, down to the Lombardi club, yell at Great Grandpa Tomasini when he yelled at me in Italian to be quiet.  I learned how to cross stitch from you and you still have the picture on the wall I made you from 30 years ago. You taught me how to make pizzelle's. I raided your jewelry box and perfume every time I came over, and we would talk for hours.  Finally, you protected me from anyone that tried to hurt me and you made it known that they better not do it again.  I said when this day came a piece of me would die with you, and it has.  You were more than just my great aunt you were like a mom to me, you were the one I trusted and loved the most.  You were my foundation when mine was crumbling, you were my protector when I was being hurt, you gave me a listing ear, a shoulder to cry on, and your heart when mine was shattered. You gave me confidence in myself and you were my biggest cheerleader.  I am missing you so much, but it gives me comfort you are in no more pain and you are in Heaven now.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. I loved her very much. I loved seeing all her beautiful dolls. My great grandfather brought Celso to America. We send our love, to you all. The Armand Milani Family
