Grandpa you and grandma always came to every event we had there was 8 of us. You never missed our kids events either. You took us on trips. Every Birthday we received money you guys never missed one. In the card you would always invite us to church. You and grandma instilled values such as catering to your mate, always shown affection in public. Family gatherings whether it was card night, fishing trips, or great America trips. In your last days I told you I love you. Even though you didn’t have much strength you told me I love you too. I sat on the bed and you grabbed my hand. I’ll miss you grandpa heaven truly gained a hero.

I always respected Homer. He was a great mentor. Great church deacon. Dale send me an email.
Homer was always very good to me and my family. When he married my mom Doris he treated my family like we were his. I will miss his smiling face.
My sympathies to all members of Homer's family. I worked for Homer at Gunite back in the late 70's and early 80's, both in Rockford and in Elkhart. He was a very kind and decent man who I respected very much.
