I first met Jerry at a resturant called Dolly's Chicken on Wheels on West State in Rockford where my mother worked. He always came in with his brother Larry & his mother Hazel. He had the biggest smile that touched everyone's heart. He always seen good in every person he met. He shared an unending love with my sister Joyce that most people never have. Jerry always had time to share with his daughter Tammy & his eyes would twinkle with joy as he watched her grow. The family Christmas Eve was a cherished time for all celebrated at the Cass house. God knew Jerry's love needed to be shared beyond my sister when she joined the Angels so he led him to Patty Sue where his smile touched so many hearts. All of us who knew & loved Jerry have been blessed. Fly with the Angels Jerry your smile will light the Heavens!

I know Jerry from work.  I am at the Cherryvale Dealership and he was at the East State location.  We saw each other from time to time.  Very nice man.  Must have made an impression or I would not have  recognized his name!  I am sharing his obit with several others from Bachrodts who knew him.
