Dear Carl and family I was so saddened by loss of June. She was such a great woman and shown kindness beyond anyone I know. She always made me feel welcome. June was a joy to be around. I know the hurt you are feeling and know no words can help. You are in my prayers.
God be with you at this difficult time.
Mike and family,
Our sincerest condolences for your loss. We are praying and thinking of you in this difficult time.
I'm so very sad to hear of her passing. My love and prayers to Carl, Michelle and Michael and their families.
What can I say about June and her influence on many lives, including my life? I remember a woman that would do anything to make our lives better. She helped everyone. Michelle, the first thought that came to my head when I read your mom's obit. I have to fly home and that is exactly what I am doing. June is not passing thru this world and on to the next without me being there. She had way too much great influence on my life and your family. June was an awesome mom. See you all in Rockford. My plans are made and the rest is history.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Carl, Michelle, Mike and family, we were so very sorry to learn about June. I am filled with a tidal wave of emotions and memories, but the prevailing result is what a kind and creative spirit the world has lost. From her love of animals (Scruffy, Muffin and the tailless cat in particular) to her beautiful curated flower gardens, her caring spirit forever woven through out it all. What neighborhood kid could forget the full-size candy bars at Halloween presented by June in full on Witch attire? Or the decorations and her signature Christmas trees? Rockefeller Center remains envious. But a special memory to me was the summer bike rides she and I would take to the cemetery with Muffin, her duck, in the bike's basket and me riding on the handle bars to feed and visit the other ducks. Best fed ducks in Northern Illinois.
Our families celebrated countless holidays together in Park-er Woods and set a Guinness record for most number of parades attended to see the "award winning" Tebala Drum and Bugle Corps! We fished together, played cards and games together, ate and drank (a lot) together, most importantly though we created wonderful indelible memories. I hope you find some comfort in the memories you share and the creative, kind spirit you knew and loved so well. Truly a one of kind and we are very blessed to have been enriched by her. She'll be missed. Peace be with you all. The Brace Family
