Anna Abbott, 93, died 4:30 a.m., Monday, February 18, 2008 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center Emergency Room. Born June 11, 1914 in Carmi, Illinois. Daughter of Charlie & Lyda (Rhein) May. Married Taylor E.Abbott in Carmi, IL on September 13, 1931. He predeceased her October 28, 1987. Former member of Rockford South Church of God, in her later years a member of Cathedral Baptist Church.She is survived by her son, Gene (June) Abbott, Sweetwater, TN.10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Walter May, daughter in-law Donna Abbott, Port Richey, FL, numerous nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her son Carl, brothers Hubert & Martin, sisters Mamie and Esther.Services 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2008 in SUNDBERG FUNERAL HOME LTD. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
