Davis Hillhouse, 75, died 9:20 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008 in his home. He was born February 4, 1933 in Leland, Mississippi. Son of Hugh & Bessie (Thorp) Hillhouse. He was employed as a plater by Rockford Products Co., for 17 years prior to retiring. Survived by his 4 children, Betty Sue (Steve) Hogan, Frank (Andrea) Hillhouse, Peggy (Charlie) Berry, and Greg Hillhouse. Six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. His lifelong partner, Betty Morrison and her children, Teresa Carroll, Richard and Raymond Morrison, and Marie Morrison. Four brothers, Estell D., David L., Donald R., and William Hillhouse.Four sisters, Pearl Pilgrim, Betty Brooks, Frances Watson, and Louise Adams. Also his special friends, Juano Bello, Donna Pells, and Debbie Linglebach. His beloved dogs Cookie & Buddie.Predeceased by his parents, brother Jessie and sisters Katherine Sullivan and Ethel Hillhouse.Graveside service 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
