Debra Rose Obituary

Debra "Deb" Rose, 56, died in her home after an illness. Born May 31, 1952 in Dekalb, IL, the daughter of Arthur and Bonnie (Iverson) Nuckles. She was a former travel agent for many years. Deb enjoyed the meetings and support of her AA group. Survivors include her daughters, Nicole Rose of Loves Park and Megan Rose of Rockford, her grandchildren, Keegan Merrifield and Logan Huffner, her ex-husband and good friend, Tom Rose of Rockford, 2 brothers, Michael (Alice) Nuckles of N. Carolina, and Kenneth (Gaye) Nuckles of Cambridge, WI. She was a treasured friend to many including Deb J., Joan, Deb C., Paula, Linda, and Jenny. Predeceased by her parents. Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m., Thurs., Oct. 2, 2008 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford, IL with Rev. Dr. Denver Bitner officiating. Private interment in Scandinavian Cemetery.
