Dorothy Gotthalf, 93, died 5:45 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2008 in her home. Born July 23, 1914 in Ashtabula, OH. Daughter of Herman & Dina (Lewis) Bohn.Married to Henry Gotthalf in Ashtabula, OH on March 25, 1934. He predeceased her on May 14, 2007. She was an administrative assistant for Whitehead Insurance. Dorothy and Henry were active in dancing, into their early 90's. Member of Ostende, Top of The Town, and Cottillion Dance Clubs. She received a Life Master designation from the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL).Survived by her daughter, Katherine (Meyer) Abarbanel and son, Donald (Judith) Gotthalf. Ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Jane Ohman and brother Albert Bohn.Graveside service 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2008 in Rockford Hebrew Cemetery, with Rabbi Binah Wing officiating.
