Eugene Adams, 64, passed away in his home on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Born June 26, 1951 in Rector, Arkansas, son of Ernest and Nellie (Cook) Adams. Married to the former Louise Hillhouse in Rockford on Sept. 25, 1966. She predeceased him on May 14, 2015. Employed by Hydro-Line for many years. Member of U.P.C. Silverhill Church. Survivors include children, Lisa (Mark) Pohl; Teresa (Dan) Peterson; Beverly Adams (Deon McFadden); and Cherish (Lamar) Coates; grandchildren, Cherish, Jasmine, Aaron, and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Allen and Rhianna Coates, Jayden, Brandon Jr., and Jazlynn Ray; brothers, Harold and Larry Adams; sisters, Debbie Robbins and Wanda Wentworth. Predeceased by brothers, Louis and Jim Adams; and sister, Carolyn Hillhouse.

Visitation from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 3, 2015 with service beginning at 1:30 p.m. in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford, IL 61107. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
