Sofia Kuzmicki, 76, died at 1:05 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 in her home. Born Jan. 28, 1933 in Poland, the daughter of Gregory and Anastasia (Kaluczyk) Bulka. Married John Kuzmicki in Rockford on May 21, 1966. He died May 14, 1998. Member of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church. Survivors: a son, Edward Kuzmicki, 3 sisters, Olga (Peter) Malez, Polly (Jan) Molosz, and Katie Rodak, all of Rockford. Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Maria and Vera, and a brother, Ivan. Services 11:00 a.m., Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford, IL with Fr. Basil Aden officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday.
