I can picture her on her big porch and Dad sitting next to her, both laughing..those smiles. I don’t think anyone understood my Dad quite the way that Karen did and vice versa. I envy such a relationship among kin. We had many conversations on that porch and I truly enjoyed those moments with her.  All of the people she opened her door and heart to but now the door swings wide open for her. She will know nothing but peace and love from her lord and savior and those who have passed before. I hope she might give them a hug from me and take her place in peace and eternity.

I pray tonight for the bleeding hearts she left behind and beg you find comfort in knowing her faith has brought her to this final place. She has been waiting for it for so long.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

    Love

    Tootsy

How does one say goodbye to a lady who fought so long to never be alone...a lady who gave of herself as she fostered many children..a lady who volunteered to teach Sunday School so our Lord's love was known...a lady who sometimes took on battles knowing they could not be won...I cannot but I can release her into God's arms hoping she will sing in the Heavnly Choir as she spreads her very earned wings and flys with the Angels. My heart will hear you my "sister" in every beat!

You are Not Alone anymore Karen! You fought many battles that werent even yours to fight. You stepped in when no one else would and fought for those that wouldnt even fight for themselves. Your fighting is over and your battles are won. I know You are enjoying your new body free from pain, and Im sure You are Beautiful in your Robe and Crown! Now You get to start really living! I will miss our chats on the phone and on facebook and our little periodic visits. I wouldnt wish you back here for anything. This is what you worked so hard towards and now you are Home!!! To your family left behind, I hope you all remember all she taught you and will love each other like she loved you.. Im sorry for your loss.

    Karen,

you are no longer suffering and are in a better place. You will certainly be missed. You are probably one of the kindest and most selfless people I have ever met. Thank you for being so good to my Grandma and for making sure her wish was granted. I will always remember you for your kindness. ❤️
